Launiupoko Beach Park is just off the highway and is a popular spot for families, both visiting and local. It is a well-known spot for surfers and paddle boarders.

My husband Greg and I celebrated our wedding in Lahaina 37 years ago,
cherishing the dream of one day moving to Maui. However, our professional
commitments and familial responsibilities kept us rooted in San Diego.
After retiring, we finally took the leap and decided to embrace Maui as our
new home. It was a bittersweet experience, leaving behind our loved ones
and lifelong friends. Surprisingly, our family and friends now relish visiting us
frequently in Maui, captivated by the allure of Aloha that we have come to
cherish. It truly is a magical place to reside!
Since 2000, we have actively invested in Maui real estate and immersed
ourselves in the local market. With over 35 years of professional experience in
finance and real estate, coupled with a Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration from National University in San Diego, I bring a wealth of
knowledge and expertise to the table. I have also acquired a luxury real estate
designation and recently completed the rigorous training and gained profound
insights into real estate technology tools, as well as local and national legal
matters through my Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI) designation.
Having resided in Launiupoko since 2015, my extensive familiarity with Maui
real estate spans across various property types, including single-family
homes, condos (long and short term), condo-tels, agricultural land, CPRs, and
more. I have successfully listed and sold numerous luxury properties on Maui,
assisted first time home owners (condos and single family homes), investors,
and acted as an advocate for off island buyers purchasing new construction
home.

All too often people complain when things go awry, but they never give credit where credit is due.Our experience with Cheri Miller was so especially wonderful that we were compelled to
acknowledge her in this writing.
Words cannot express the incomparable satisfaction that we experienced throughout the process of purchasing a home through our real estate agent Cheri Miller. We initially met Cheri at an open house that she was hosting for Keller Williams. We immediately took a liking to Cheri and decided that she should become our real estate agent. There were many agents aggressively pursuing our business, but Cheri had such a likeable personality and in-depth knowledge of the industry, that she immediately won us over. Cheri is an exemplary listener with keen attention to detail. She consistently stayed on top of our wish list and sent us many listings. She always invited us to all of her open house listings if she thought we would enjoy seeing them. Cheri never tried to push us into any properties that were out of our price range. She was very considerate of our budget restrictions, and she took our wish list to heart. One of the greatest attributes anyone in sales can possess is the ability to listen to their clients and focus on what is important to them. Another noteworthy attribute of Cheri’s is that she is always punctual.
In the end we purchased a lovely home at “The Masters”. Cheri stayed on top of each and every
deadline detail and made sure that we were never late. Her attention to all of our tedious buyer
details while in Escrow were absolutely remarkable.
Cheri also came to our rescue when she realized that the sofa that we wanted was in short supply at Costco, and that it would probably sell out before we could arrange to get a truck to pick it up. She actually went to Costco and scoped out how many were left in inventory, and then she kindly offered to purchase it for us and we reimbursed her later that day. If she did not do that for us, we would have lost the sofa opportunity because they surely would have sold out that very day! Then we had no place to even put the sofa, and once again Cheri rescued the situation and allowed us to store it in her garage! Who does that? Only a kind-hearted, caring, sensitive person of the highest integrity would do all that!
Cheri was always looking out for our best interests and gave us wise well-reasoned advice during the entire process. She was quick to make suggestions to remedy situations that could have caused the sale to fall out of escrow. One such time was when it was discovered that the air conditioner unit did not work. Cheri took control of the situation intelligently persuaded the listing agents to absorb the cost of purchasing a new unit for us. We were very happy about that. On our final walk-through Cheri also stood up for us when it was discovered that the faucet was leaking under the sink and she went to bat for us to get the seller to agree to pay for the installation of new faucets.We could go on and on praising Cheri, but suffice it to say that we feel that we not only have the best realtor in Maui, but we have a new friend for life. We have bought and sold many properties in our lifetimes, and buying this home in Maui was not our first home purchase, but it certainly exceeded all of our expectations thanks to the character of Cheri Miller! We will be referring all of our friends who are looking to purchase property in Maui to Cheri.
PS. We told Cheri that we would meet her at the final walk-through “with bells on our toes” and she actually showed up with bells on her toes!! She also brought bells for our toes too-because you see Cheri thinks of EVERYTHING! ~ Teresa & Jacqueline
Over a two year period, we would come to Maui and look at houses and condos, but nothing worked out. Cheri was incredibly patient, fun, and we always enjoyed talking to her. She was always honest, kind and let us know if she though the house or condo wasn't a good fit. When COVID happened, Cheri would FaceTime us at properties. With Cheri’s help, we finally found a beautiful home online with an amazing ocean view in 2020. Cheri walked through the property and let us know of any concerns and advice. We purchased the house and everything went smoothly. We were so grateful that Cheri helped us through the successful process of purchasing the house. Cheri is incredibly smart, patient, kind, hard-working, a great communicator and friend.
